Wardwise provides support to hospitalised children who are missing school due to medical conditions. We offer tailored tutoring and companionship to help them stay connected to their learning while in hospital.
Founder Amelia Bowen spent much of her GCSE years in hospital, unable to attend school because of severe illnesses out of her control.
Keeping up with your education while living in a hospital bed is too much. WardWise was created for this reason — to provide hospitalised children in the UK with the educational support they need, so they can continue learning, growing, and thriving.
Even during their most difficult times.
Our dedicated volunteers provide much-needed companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations or playing games of the child’s choice—whether it’s Mario Kart or Monopoly—to make their hospital stay more fun and less isolating.
We offer tailored tutoring (From KS2 to GCSE) to ensure hospitalised children can stay on track with their education. Our goal is to help them maintain academic progress and achieve their learning milestones, even in challenging circumstances.
